Dr. Ahmed Adel Abdel Hakim, Acting President of Alexandria University, received Malaysian Ambassador to Egypt Mohamed Tred bin Sufian to discuss enhancing academic and research cooperation and the latest developments of the university’s branch in Kuala Lumpur.

Dr. Abdel Hakim highlighted the strong Egypt–Malaysia relations and the growing number of Malaysian students studying at Alexandria University, particularly in Medicine and Dentistry. He emphasized that the Kuala Lumpur branch represents a strategic step in the university’s international expansion and aims to attract students from Malaysia and Southeast Asia.

The Malaysian Ambassador praised Alexandria University’s academic standing and expressed the Embassy’s full support for the Kuala Lumpur branch and for strengthening educational and scientific cooperation between Egypt and Malaysia.
