Faculty of Economic Studies and Political Science Celebrates Its 9th Graduating Class

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Adel Abdel Hakim, Acting President of Alexandria University, the Faculty of Economic Studies and Political Science celebrated the graduation of its ninth cohort for the 2025/2026 academic year.
The ceremony included graduates of the bachelor’s programs, the first cohort of the Professional Master’s programs in Economics and Political Science, as well as graduates of academic master’s and PhD programs.
The event also featured the honoring of top-performing graduates and distinguished postgraduate students, in the presence of prominent academic, diplomatic, parliamentary, banking, and community figures.





Alexandria University Students Complete International Summer Training Program at the University of Louisville

As part of the longstanding academic and research partnership between Alexandria University and the University of Louisville, six engineering students from Alexandria University have completed their participation in the International Summer Training Program at the University of Louisville, held for the fifth consecutive year under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Adel Abdel Hakim, Acting President of Alexandria University.
The program provided students with hands-on experience in applied research projects, training in advanced research techniques, and opportunities to work under the supervision of leading professors and researchers at the University of Louisville, enhancing their academic and research skills in an international environment.
This year’s participants represented Computer and Communications Engineering, Communications and Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Gas and Petrochemical Engineering programs. At the closing ceremony, the students presented their research projects and findings, highlighting the skills and experience they gained during the program.
The partnership also includes a joint master’s program, offering students a flexible pathway to pursue graduate studies at the University of Louisville. The partnership reflects Alexandria University’s commitment to expanding international education, training, and research opportunities for its students and enhancing their competitiveness in engineering and research fields.
Alexandria University Engineering Career & Business Forum 2026

Under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed Adel Abdel Hakim, Acting President of Alexandria University, the Faculty of Engineering held the Engineering Business & Career Forum 2026, in the presence of Eng. Ayman Atia, Governor of Alexandria, Dr. Affaf Al-Oufy, Vice President of Alexandria University for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Wael El-Maghlany, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Engineering; as well as faculty members.and participation from leading local and international companies in engineering, technology, energy, real estate, and industry.
The forum aims to strengthen direct communication between students, graduates, and employers, provide access to career and training opportunities, and develop the professional and practical skills required by the labor market.
It also reflects Alexandria University’s commitment to connecting education with industry needs and expanding opportunities for training, employment, and entrepreneurship.
